Beaconsfield School is very proud of the contribution that the Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) make to the overall running and success of the school. The PTA is a very active group that fund raises for the benefit of all the children of the school.
Meetings are held once a term, although this may change from time to time. PTA meeting dates and times will be published in the school newsletter and on the website under the Events Calendar.

The PTA has a chairperson, treasurer and secretary. The rest of the parent community are also part of the organisation. Meetings are generally held once a term, with the AGM usually held in May.
Currently 2 major fund - raising ventures are undertaken each year; The Maungati Trail Traverse - a motorbike trail ride, and The Bledisloe Cup evening - when we all come together to watch rugby, on a big screen.
These two events do require a lot of manpower, but the effort is worth it, raising between $6,000.00 – $10,00.00 each year.
