SCHOOL UNIFORMS

BEACONSFIELD SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY and GUIDELINES

PURPOSE

To promotes a sense of pride, responsibility and identity within the school and our wider community.To provide all pupils with standards for appropriate, practical and economical school clothing and to encourage school pride and sense of identity.

 

SCHOOL UNIFORM GUIDELINES

Guidelines –

Parents are required to undertake responsibility for ensuring that their child/ren is/are provided with, and wear the prescribed uniform, as outlined in the school uniform schedule.

Sunsafe Policy –

Beaconsfield School has a Sunsafe Policy and pupils are required to wear a Navy wide brimmed sun hat when outside during terms One and Four. Navy School hats are available for purchase from the Warehouse. We have a “NO SCHOOL HAT NO PLAY” policy in terms One and Four.

 

SCHOOL UNIFORM (Boys and Girls)

Items purchased from the School Office 

  • Teal short sleeve polo shirt with black knit collar
  • Teal sweatshirt
  • Black Poly fleece
  • Black poly/cotton Beaconsfield branded rugby shorts
  • Black Tracksuit Pants
  • Black Beanie

Items purchased from a store of your choice…

  • Black skorts or collets
  • Beaconsfield School Navy Blue wide brimmed sun hat
  • Black or white socks
  • Black stockings
  • Black shoes, black sandals or sports shoes

Please Note:

Footwear should provide support, be safe and suitable for all school activities

Slip ons, scuffs, jandals, gumboots or other unsuitable footwear not suitable for school activities.

Jewellery And Accessories:

Accessories

All long hair must be neatly tied up, using plain hair ties and clips.  This is a safety and health issue.  Black or Teal ribbons or hair bands are preferred

Jewellery

Due to safety and health factors, the only jewellery that can be worn at school is:

                                                      Medic Alert bracelets;

                                                      Watches

                                                      Earrings – studs or sleepers only.

No make-up, nail polish, bracelets or other accessories are to be worn at school. Necklaces are not permitted (unless permission has been granted for cultural reasons).

Please Note - Second Hand Uniform sales are available.

BUS TRANSPORT

For Health and Safety the children are to wear a safety vest when travelling on the bus before school and after school
